June Summer Family Camp 2023

Join the Wisdom Keepers family as we gather at beautiful Lake Concow to learn the Universal Skills that every culture of humanity has practiced. This program is a deep dive into our Apprentice of the Wild program and offers children the opportunity to have fun learning our ancestors' skills from someone who’s lived the Old Ways. This is a beautiful way for the whole family to get off the screens and take a break in the beauty of wilderness. Your children will learn to understand the difference between their needs and wants and gain self-confidence from meeting those needs directly.

We will spend 7 days at Lake Concow, just north of Sacramento, where we will make fires by rubbing sticks together, learn edible and medicinal plants, move silently, feel the natural rhythm of the land, and discover ancient wisdom as we “seek what they sought.” This offering is facilitated with…
