July 28-August 2, 2025 Sequoia Forest, Methuselah Group Camp Mountain Home Demonstration State Forest About our Family Camps: Family Camps are an opportunity for families to camp, learn, and play together for one week deep in the Sequoia Forest within a supportive community. Registration is for children ages 5-15. Adults, younger, and older siblings attend for free with their registered student(s). Join the Wisdom Keepers crew as we gather at 6,000 feet among the ancient sequoias to learn the Universal Skills that every culture of humanity has practiced. This program is a deep dive into our Apprentice of the Wild program and offers children the opportunity to have fun learning our ancestors' skills from someone who’s lived the Old Ways. This is a beautiful way for the whole family to check out of your technology-driven lives and take a break in the beauty of the wilderness. Your children will learn to understand the difference between their needs and wants and gain self-confidence from meeting those needs directly. We will spend 7 days deep in the beautiful sequoia forest, where we will make fires by rubbing sticks together, learn edible and medicinal plants, move silently, feel the natural rhythm of the land, and discover ancient wisdom as we “seek what they sought.” This offering is facilitated with love, compassion, and the inherent principles of living a life in Harmony with the Earth. This is a mentoring program. It is an incredibly rare opportunity to live with Chris for a full week in his natural habitat!
