Service Description
*10am - 3pm *Appropriate for most ages. Tracking & Pattern Recognition The landscape tells stories of a myriad of interconnected relationships. These stories are visible in tracks, but also in scratches on bark, chewed branches, the spaces between trees, companion species, bird calls, wind patterns and so much more. Join us as we track deer, coyotes and even mice, explore a variety of signs of animal activity, plus look at the patterns in the landscape that affect wildlife behavior. We’ll also consider how these factors affect our human options for travel, hunting, foraging, and shelter. This is a really fabulous experience of exploring the foundations of being human… deeply interconnected with nature.
