Service Description
Day: Tuesdays (9/12 -12/12) Time: 9am Location: Pasadena (KS) Ages: 10 and up Cost: $350 Instructor: Michele McCole Moss Using the writer's workshop teaching style, students will share their work in class and receive feedback from their fellow writers. Michele creates a safe, welcoming environment for students to gain confidence in their writing skills and learn to love telling stories. Michele has a film writing BFA from the USC School of Cinema and a BA in English Lit from USC. She’s been a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators for over ten years to work on her novel-writing in kid lit. Her classes go over main story elements--three-act structure, character, world-building, etc. Once the kids have those things down they move to a critique group class where several students present writing and everyone discusses story elements to help each writer with their projects.
