This unforgettable adventure is more than a vacation – it's a deep dive into the wild wonders of the American West with an intimate group of only 20 adventurers. Guided by wildlife biologist and ancient skills expert, Chris Morasky, this expedition promises a unique blend of knowledge, adventure, and even a bit of luxury. Get ready to create memories that will last a lifetime! We'll transport your gear from Los Angeles to our campsite. When you fly into Idaho Falls Regional Airport, we'll be there to greet you, get groceries, and then onwards to Base Camp. If you prefer to drive your own vehicle or RV, we'll meet you at camp. Our Base Camp, located at the head waters of the Henry’s Fork River, is the private Big Springs Group Camp in Island Park, Idaho, just a stone's throw away from the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Known for its world class trout fishing, forests of lodgepole pine and broad grassy meadows bursting with summer wildflowers, we’ll expect to see a wide variety of wildlife, including moose, elk, deer, bald eagles, bears, Sandhill cranes and much, much more. During two of our days, we depart veeeery early and board a private luxury bus to explore the park's iconic wildlife and epic sights. Sunrise in Yellowstone is absolutely magical and it's our best opportunity to see wolves and grizzly bears. Yellowstone is known as America's Serengeti, and there's no place in the country with more herds of giant wildlife. On our first day in the park, we’ll spend our afternoon on a scenic float trip down the Yellowstone River. Glide through tranquil waters, marvel at the towering canyon walls, and savor the serenity of one of America's most legendary rivers. Whitewater option available. Finally, we'll visit the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center where we’ll get up close and personal with Yellowstone's charismatic grizzlies and grey wolves. Learn about conservation efforts, rehabilitation strategies, and gain insights into the delicate balance between humans and wildlife in this remarkable ecosystem.
